Landlords of rentals and/or holiday let properties have a number of responsibilities under new Fire Safety (England) Regulations, including regular inspections of fire doors, clearly identifying escape routes and how to report a fire.

Many landlords use an overhead floorplan of the property to display fire escape routes to their tenants, with the routes labelled.
